I go and go and go some more. It never seems to end. Like a rollercoaster ride that never stops. There is so much anticipation and so much excitement. I get nervous? Yes, but it's a good nervous, a kind that only amplifies the excitement.
I've gone at midnight, I've gone in the morning, I've gone at noon, I've gone in the evening. No matter when I go it always finds a way to fail and fail miserably.
At first I thought it was me, maybe I am just that bad. Maybe my priorities are all wrong. Maybe I always seem to say the wrong things. But how can I say the wrong things when I let them do almost all of the talking. Maybe thats the problem. But I thought they liked a good listner. That's what they always say they're looking for.
All I know is that I'm happy with the life I have right now. I just wish that they would quit messing with my head and I wish they would quit playing these silly games. I guess when I find the right one she won't do those things to me.
So I'll keep going and going and going on this rollercoaster ride they call dating with these silly women.

Hawks game
So Cameron and I went to the Seahawks game last week with one of my work buddies and his son. I have to say that I was expecting to only stay for about the first half since Cameron is so young and doesn't understand anything about the game.
Once we arrived at the stadium I think he was in awe. Then we went to the play area for kids and they had a bunch of giant inflatable toys in which the attendant throws a football and the kids race (2 at a time) to get the football and get back. Cameron absolutely loved these games and did not want to go sit and watch the game once he knew about those toys.
So we went to our seats and waited for the game to start. About five minutes into the game he was "ready to go home" as he says. He did not cry, he just sat on my lap and was unhappy. So we went on with him fussing every once in a while until halftime then we went for a walk around the stadium (which is amazing in itself) and that helped calm him down.
The second half we got some pizza and went back to our seats. The food really helped and he started to sit back and enjoy the scenery (especially when I pointed out the cheerleaders.) He got to shake hands with blitz after yelling for him at the top of my lungs. He also had a chance to see the real bird as well.
So we made it through the game with overtime and all. Then jetted over to the corner where the players exit the field. Cameron ended up getting Walter Jones' glove still sticky from the sweat of his hand. Which may sound gross but Cameron and I thought it was awesome.
We drove home that night and saw true friendship when two kids use each other for pillows. So it ended up being a great experience and some very quality time to spend with my son who I see very little of. I guess I just need to quit worrying so much and try new things. I might wait a couple years before I take him again though. :)
